2225 – TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (“Terms of Sale”) govern the purchase of 2225 products (“Products”) made remotely through our website www.2225.world (the “Site”).
The Site is operated by The Ebullient Cottage, LLC (“2225”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
Our contact details are available on the Contact page of the Site.
By placing an order on the Site, you (“Customer”, “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Sale, our Return Policy, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Terms of Use.
1. OUR BUSINESS POLICY
1.1
We sell Products only to consumers – individuals purchasing for personal use and not for resale, business, or professional purposes.
1.2
We may refuse or cancel orders if we reasonably believe they are:
- placed by resellers or for commercial purposes;
- fraudulent or in breach of these Terms of Sale; or
- not capable of being fulfilled (e.g. stock errors, pricing errors).
1.3
These Terms of Sale, together with your order confirmation email, form the contract of sale between you and 2225 for the Products listed in that confirmation.
1.4
Our Site may link to third-party sites or services. We are not responsible for any products, services, or content offered by third parties and you should review their own terms and policies before purchasing from them.
2. ORDERING PROCESS
2.1
The display of Products on the Site is an invitation to place an order, not a binding offer.
To place an order, you must:
- select the Product, size, and color;
- add it to your cart;
- complete the checkout form (contact details, shipping address, and payment information);
- review and accept these Terms of Sale; and
- click the “Place Order” (or equivalent) button.
2.2
Before submitting your order, you can review and correct any errors in your cart or details. After submission, changes are generally not possible; please contact us as soon as possible if you notice a mistake.
2.3
After you submit an order, you will receive an order acknowledgment email summarizing the details. This email confirms that we have received your order but does not mean it has been accepted.
2.4
We accept your order only when we send you a shipping confirmation email. At that moment, a binding contract is formed for the Products listed in that email.
2.5
If we are unable to accept your order (for example, due to out-of-stock items, system errors, or payment issues), we will notify you and refund any amounts paid for the affected Products.
2.6
Order information will be stored in your account area (if you create an account) and in our internal systems for as long as necessary to fulfil the order and as required by law.
3. PRODUCTS, PRICES AND AVAILABILITY
3.1
The Site sells only 2225-branded Products.
3.2
We do not intentionally sell second-hand, defective, or sub-standard Products. If you believe a Product is faulty or not as described, you may have rights under the legal warranty described in Section 9 and our Return Policy.
3.3
We aim to describe and display Products accurately. However:
- colors may vary depending on your screen; and
- minor differences between the Product photos and the actual Product may occur.
Please rely primarily on the written description and technical details on the Product page.
3.4
Prices shown on the Site:
- are indicated in the currency displayed at checkout;
- include applicable VAT/sales tax where required; and
- exclude shipping costs, customs duties, and any additional fees shown separately at checkout.
We may change prices at any time; however, the price charged will be the one shown at checkout when you place your order.
3.5
From time to time we may run promotions or discounts. The Site will show the original price, the reduction (if any), and the final price payable.
3.6
Each Product may carry an internal identification label, serial number, or humanity element. Please do not remove these if you may wish to return or humanate the item.
4. PAYMENT
4.1
We accept the payment methods shown at checkout (for example: credit/debit cards, digital wallets, local payment methods, or buy-now-pay-later services). Available methods may vary by country.
4.2
Payment is processed securely through our payment providers. Your full card data is handled by the payment provider, not by 2225.
4.3
Depending on the payment method, the amount may be:
- authorized at checkout and captured when the order is shipped; or
- charged immediately at checkout.
If an order cannot be accepted, any amounts captured for that order will be refunded.
4.4
By submitting payment details, you confirm that you are authorized to use the chosen method and that the information is correct.
5. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
5.1
We ship only to the countries listed on the Site at checkout. Orders to other destinations cannot be accepted.
5.2
Estimated delivery times, shipping options, and costs are shown at checkout and in the Shipping / Client Service section of the Site. These are estimates and not guaranteed delivery dates, but we aim to dispatch orders promptly.
5.3
Risk of loss and title to the Products pass to you when the Products are delivered to the shipping address you provided, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
5.4
If a parcel cannot be delivered because of an incorrect address, repeated failed delivery attempts, or refusal, it may be returned to us. In such cases we will contact you; we may refund the Product price but may deduct original and return shipping costs where allowed by law.
6. CUSTOMER ACCOUNTS
6.1
You may create a customer account to store your details, view order history, and access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.
6.2
You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
7. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL / RETURNS
7.1
As a consumer in the EU/UK or other applicable jurisdictions, you generally have a legal right of withdrawal (cooling-off period) for online purchases. Our Return Policy explains:
- the time period in which you can return Products,
- how to initiate a return,
- which items are excluded for hygiene or customization reasons, and
- when shipping costs are refunded.

The Return Policy forms part of these Terms of Sale. Please review it carefully before ordering.
8. REFUNDS
8.1
If you withdraw from the contract in accordance with the Return Policy and applicable law, we will refund:
- the purchase price of the returned Products, and
- standard delivery costs (where required by law),
using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless we agree otherwise.
8.2
We may reduce your refund if the Products show signs of use beyond what is necessary to check their nature, characteristics, and functioning (for example, heavily worn, damaged, or missing components).
9. LEGAL WARRANTY FOR FAULTY PRODUCTS
9.1
If a Product has a manufacturing defect or does not conform to the contract, you may be entitled to:
- repair,
- replacement, or
- a refund or price reduction,
in accordance with the consumer protection laws of your country of residence (for example, EU Directive 2019/771 where applicable).
9.2
If you believe your Product is defective:
- stop using it immediately;
- contact us via the Client Service / Contact section with photos, a description of the issue, and your order number; and
- follow our instructions for returning the Product.
9.3
We will inspect the returned item. If a defect or lack of conformity is confirmed, we will repair or replace the Product where possible, or refund you, including reasonable return shipping costs as required by law.
9.4
This warranty does not cover:
- damage caused by misuse, accidents, neglect, or improper care;
- normal wear and tear;
- modifications or repairs not authorized by 2225; or
- use contrary to the instructions in the user manuals or on the product labels.
Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
10. PRIVACY
10.1
Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are available on the Site.
10.2
By placing an order, you acknowledge that your personal data will be used for order processing, payment, shipping, and related customer service.
11. OUR LIABILITY
11.1
Nothing in these Terms of Sale limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
11.2
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- indirect, incidental, or consequential damages;
- loss of profit, revenue, or business; or
- losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.
11.3
If we are found liable for any damage related to a Product or an order, our total aggregate liability will be limited, to the extent allowed by law, to the amount you paid for that Product.
12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
12.1
All trademarks, logos, product names, images, designs, texts, and other content on the Site and on the Products, including “2225” and related marks, are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual property laws.
12.2
You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or use such content without our prior written consent, except as strictly necessary to view the Site or place an order for your personal use.
13. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES
13.1
These Terms of Sale are governed by the laws of the country/region where you habitually reside as a consumer, and you may bring legal proceedings in the courts of that country.
13.2
If you are an EU/EEA consumer, you may also use the EU’s Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
14. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
14.1
We may update these Terms of Sale from time to time, for example to reflect changes in our business or in applicable law.

The version in force at the time you place your order will apply to that order. The latest version will always be available on the Site and marked with the “Last updated” date at the top.
